New Tottenham signing Dele Alli was at Wembley for the Capital One Cup final.

Tottenham Hotspur new boy Dele Alli tweeted a photo from the stands at Wembley Stadium showing he was in the crowd supporting the team.

Alli signed on transfer deadline day from MK Dons, and was loaned back to the League One side.

The midfielder is however currently back at Spurs for treatment on an injured knee, as the club confirmed on their official website last week.

He is expected to be out for another five weeks after sustaining an injury against Colchester United, which has at last given him a chance to get familiar with Tottenham while out of action.

Alli was in the Wembley crowd for the Capital One Cup final against Chelsea, a game the Blues won 2-0 thanks to goals from John Terry and Diego Costa.

It may not be Alli's only visit to Wembley this season. The talented teenager will return to MK Dons when fit again, to help their push for promotion from League One.

They are second in the division at present but only on goal difference, with Preston, also on 62 points having a game on hand.

A play-off spot is a very likely possibility, and if they reach the final, Alli may yet get a chance to play on the turf at the stadium, rather than watch from several thousand seats high into the stands.
