The West Yorkshire outfit will head into the Championship clash on the back of a 3-2 defeat to Watford on home soil.
The loss on Saturday was Leeds’ second in a row following the 2-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion at The Amex on Tuesday.
However, centre-back Cooper is confident that the Whites can return to winning ways against promotion-chasing Ipswich in midweek.
“We have got great form against the top teams this season,” the 23-year-old told BBC Radio Leeds. “We will be looking to go and get a win for the fans on Wednesday night.”
Leeds do have a commendable record against top teams in the Championship this season, and that is something to be proud of.
Prior to their setbacks against Watford and Brighton, Neil Redfearn’s side had actually defeated second-placed Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.
Last month Leeds got the better of promotion hopefuls Bournemouth 1-0 at Elland Road, and back in November the former Premier League outfit beat leaders Derby County 2-0 at home.
It seems that against the bigger teams the Leeds players step up their game and rise to the occasion.
The Leeds fans will hope that the team do the same against sixth-placed Ipswich at Elland Road on Wednesday.
