Forest made it three wins in a row in the Championship when they got the better of the Royals 3-0 at the Madejski Stadium.
Ben Osborn put the Reds in the lead with a superb long-range strike in the opening minutes of the second half, and Matty Fryatt doubled the advantage in the 70th minute.
Gary Gardner wrapped up the three points for the Reds 10 minutes from time when he found the target from distance.
The win against Reading was Forest’s fifth in six Championship games under manager Dougie Freedman, who replaced the sacked Stuart Pearce at the City Ground last month.
Al-Hasawi was understandably overjoyed with the team’s performance and result on Saturday, and posted the following messages on Twitter.
Another great win today, Thank you to Dougie, the players and the fans #nffc— @FAWAZ_ALHASAWI (@fawaz_alhasawi1) February 28, 2015
Wishing the players all the best for the upcoming game against Charlton this Tuesday, COYR #nffc— @FAWAZ_ALHASAWI (@fawaz_alhasawi1) February 28, 2015
The win at the Madejski has lifted Forest up to ninth in the Championship table with 50 points from 34 matches, nine points behind sixth-placed Norwich City.
Freedman’s side are back in action on Tuesday when they take on Charlton Athletic away from home.
