Confirmed: Arsenal v Everton lineups

Arsenal Emirates 3

Here is how Arsenal and Everton will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Arsenal welcome Everton to the Emirates Stadium this weekend with both sides eager for the three points for very different reasons.

Arsenal slipped to fourth place in the Premier League following Manchester United’s victory on Saturday and the Gunners will want to put that right against the Toffees.

But Roberto Martinez’s side dropped to 14th following Saturday’s results and a victory would go a long way to ensuring they are not pulled into an unlikely relegation scrap in the last two months of the season.

Considering Everton’s recent record away to Arsenal, their fans may not be holding out much hope of an upset this afternoon.

The Toffees have not won any of their last 18 matches away to Arsenal in the league, and they have taken just four points in that time.

Having won just one of their last 10 league matches, Everton will know things need to change…and quickly. But can they really get one over an Arsenal side smarting from their recent defeat to Monaco.
