Wolverhampton Wanderers made it three wins in a row in the Championship today when they got the better of Cardiff City 1-0 away from home.
Kenny Jackett’s side headed into the clash at the Cardiff City Stadium on the back of a 3-0 victory over Fulham at Molineux.
That home win followed a 5-0 hammering of Rotherham United, and it seems that Wolves are now on a winning streak.
Victory over Cardiff was not that comprehensive, though, as only a Bakary Sako goal separated the two sides in Wales.
The 26-year-old Mali international attacker found the target with a low effort in the 26th minute, as hosts Cardiff ended the game with 10 men following the dismissal of midfielder Peter Whittingham in the second half for two bookable offences.
The win leaves Wolves eighth in the Championship table with 57 points from 34 matches, just two points behind sixth-placed Norwich City.
