The Portuguese attacker has scored ten times in eight games against the El Madrigal outfit for the capital city side.
In bad news for the visitors, Cristiano Ronaldo looks fit to play in the fixture.
La Liga’s top goalscorer has netted an incredible 29 goals from 21 domestic games this season and the signs are that he can add to his account against the Yellow Submarine.
Ronaldo has an excellent goalscoring record against Villarreal in Madrid’s colours, netting ten goals in eight meetings with the El Madrigal outfit.
The Portugal international has only failed to hit the back of the net against Villarreal once, in October 2011, but Madrid still won that game 3-0.
In five of the other meetings, the 30-year-old has scored once, while he netted a brace in the 3-1 victory back in May 2011.
His best performance for the Santiago Bernabeu outfit against Villarreal came in January 2011, where the Portuguese hit a hat-trick in a 4-2 Los Blancos triumph.
Interestingly, Ronaldo also faced Villarreal twice for Manchester United in the Champions League, but failed to net as both group games ended 0-0.
Given Ronaldo’s record against the men in yellow since moving to Spain, it would take a brave person to bet against the Madrid attacker chalking up his 30th La Liga goal of the season tomorrow at the very least.
