The young Belgian scored the winning goals against Sunderland in October 2013.
Manchester United take on Sunderland this afternoon in a game they know they need to take all three points from after a recent disappointing spell.
United have been playing poorly in recent weeks and defeat against Swansea City last weekend was just deserts for their standard of play.
Sunderland at home however presents itself as a tie that is surely winnable by United, despite their current troubles.
For one player in particular, Sunderland are an opponent he remembers fondly.
Adnan Januzaj first burst onto the scene last season with a match-winning performance against The Black Cats in October 2013. The teenager scored two great goals, one in the 55th and the other in 61st minute, to claim the victory over a Black Cats side that had taken the lead through Craig Gardner.
Unfortunately for Januzaj, this performance has rarely been replicated since. He has scored just two more goals since his excellent brace 16 months ago and under Louis van Gaal has been a much sparser regular than he was previously under David Moyes.
Although, given his past against Sunderland, LvG may decide to give him a run out this afternoon.
Januzaj will be hoping to emulate these pictured moments if he gets that chance.
