Leeds fans react on Twitter to Sol Bamba's performance against Watford

Leeds United fans were disappointed with Sol Bamba's display against Watford.

Leeds United couldn't recover from Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Brighton and Hove Albion, and managed to lose 3-2 to Watford at Elland Road - despite leading 2-0 after 20 minutes.

Goals from Billy Sharp and Rudolph Austin handed Leeds a 2-0 lead, but back came Watford with a Troy Deeney goal and a brace from Matej Vydra, with the Czech striker hitting the winning goal with just nine minute to play.

The defeat sent Neil Redfearn's side down to 16th place in the Championship table, but given that they're ten points clear of the relegation zone, Leeds are in no immediate danger.

It was a spectacular collapse though, having been leading after 20 minutes - and many fans were pointing the finger of blame at defender Sol Bamba.

The Ivorian international arrived on loan from Palermo in January, and the former Leicester man has so far been exceptional in the heart of the Leeds defence.

Yet today, fans were critical of Bamba, suggesting that he was at fault for Watford's winning goal, and took to Twitter to air their thoughts on the defender.

Supporters were concerned that Bamba's Leeds career could end up in the same way as Marius Zaliukas' did last season - starting strongly before turning in poor performances; especially after his man of the match display against Middlesbrough a week ago.
