Crystal Palace fans react to Jason Puncheon's performance against West Ham

Selhurst Park - Crystal Palace - 23/02/2014

Crystal Palace fans were delighted with the display from Jason Puncheon in their 3-1 win over West Ham.

Crystal Palace's fine form under new manager Alan Pardew continues after an impressive 3-1 win away at London rivals West Ham United.

The Hammers may be in poor form right now, but it was still a tough task for Pardew's Eagles this afternoon - and it was a challenge that they passed with flying colours.

Palace took the lead through a Glenn Murray goal on the stroke of half time, though a deflection from defender Aaron Cresswell certainly helped them.

Defender Scott Dann made it 2-0 shortly after half time, before Murray grabbed his second to put Palace into an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Murray was then sent off, and despite Enner Valencia pulling a goal back for West Ham, Palace managed to see the game out.

Murray and Dann will claim the credit for their goals, but all three strikes came from Jason Puncheon assists in what was a superb second half display.

The midfielder had a slow start to the game but was outstanding in the second period, drawing plenty of praise from Crystal Palace supporters after the game.

The 28-year-old has impressed under Pardew so far, and whilst he didn't get on the scoresheet, his three assists were vital for Palace.
