Confirmed: West Brom v Southampton lineups

Here is how West Bromwich Albion and Southampton will line up for this afternoon’s match:

West Bromwich Albion take on Southampton at The Hawthorns this afternoon, with Tony Pulis’s side looking to pull further clear of the bottom-three and Ronald Koeman’s men focusing on a return to the top four.

West Brom are currently 14th in the table, five points clear of the drop-zone, while Southampton are fifth, just one point behind fourth-placed Manchester United.

Southampton have a fine recent record away to West Brom, losing just once in five matches at The Hawthorns. But the Baggies are the latest club to experience the Pulis effect, losing just once in nine matches under the former Stoke City and Crystal Palace boss.

If Southampton do win this afternoon, they will be the first Premier League side to win five successive away games this season, which would be a wonderful achievement for a side flying under the impressive Koeman.

With Pulis having a poor record against the Saints, this could be the afternoon when that changes…
