Premier League leaders Chelsea will be looking to bag their first trophy of the season when they take on Spurs at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The Blues will head into the game as many football followers’ favourites, but Azpilicueta is under no illusion as to the size of the task facing him and his teammates.
Earlier today, the 25-year-old full-back posted the following message on Twitter.
Chelsea and Tottenham met only last month. On that occasion, Spurs ran out 5-3 winners against their London rivals at White Hart Lane.
One suspects that there will not be that many goals at Wembley tomorrow, but it should be a similarly entertaining game.
Interestingly, Chelsea and Spurs were involved in the League Cup final back in 2008. That year, it was Tottenham who won.
Chelsea have not won a single major trophy under manager Jose Mourinho since his return to the club in the summer of 2013.
