Photos: Passion and aggression as Everton progress in Europe

Everton are the only British side into the next round of the Europa League.

Everton were the only British side to make it through to the next round of the Europa League after a 3-1 win against Young Boys last night.

The Toffees did the hard work during the first leg in Switzerland with a 4-1 win, but it’s encouraging they showed no signs of slowing up and kept their foot firmly on the gas last night.

Everton have a great chance of progressing to the later rounds if they get a good draw and the result will also do their confidence and belief some good moving forward into this weekend’s Premier League game against Arsenal.

The main man for the Toffees last night was Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku who backed up his impressive hat-trick in the first leg with a brace last night.

Lukaku is showing why he can be the man to guide the side through the rest of the season as they look for silverware in Europe and to improve their position in the Premier League, as they aim for the top half of the table.

Here are some of the best pictures from Everton’s impressive victory.
