Marouane Chamakh was not a hit at Upton Park, but he has a good record against them since joining Crystal Palace.
Tomorrow's early kick off in the Premier League will see a London derby take place between West Ham United and Crystal Palace. The two sides face at Upton Park, with one Palace player likely to want to impress more than any other.
Marouane Chamakh faced one former club in Arsenal last week, but it is easy to forget that he also had a loan spell at West Ham United during his time at The Emirates.
In January of 2013 The Hammers snapped up the Moroccan on loan for the rest of the season after he had been languishing in the Arsenal reserves for much of 2012.
His time at West Ham was a disaster.
He failed to impress in his brief appearances for the club. In fact, Chamakh featured three times. He played 33 minutes against Sunderland, 62 minutes against QPR and then 56 minutes against Fulham. West Ham lost two and drew one of those games. So Chamakh played three times, scored no goals and never won a game with west Ham United in his disastrous spell at Upton Park.
However, he has already faced West Ham once this season - scoring his only goal of the campaign in a 3-1 defeat back in August. He also scored the winner against them in December of 2013, so he has already had some payback on The Hammers.
But a winning goal at The Boleyn, would certainly put a smile on his face.
