Wolverhampton Wanderers may look for loan signings to help their promotion tilt.
The play-off race in The Championship quite often ends up seeing one team come from outside the pack, sneaking into the top six and fighting for a spot in the Premier League.
This year Wolverhampton Wanderers are hoping it will be them.
But their manager Kenny Jackett believes they may need to do some reinforcing if that is going to be the case. He has been quoted by The Birmingham Mail, making it clear that loan arrivals are certainly on his agenda for the upcoming month.
He said: “There is a chance.
“We have until the third Thursday in March and I would say there is a chance.
“We haven’t got anyone right now and there isn’t someone coming in for Saturday, but it is something we are looking at.
“We want to be active and would like to strengthen with the right player or right players if we can.
“It would be in a variety of positions we are looking at.”
Wolves are currently sitting in eighth place, just five points behind Watford in the final play-off spot. They have also been in good form recently. After a 2-0 defeat at in-form Norwich City they have won their two games since comfortably - 5-0 v Rotherham and 3-0 v Fulham - so there is little wonder why confidence is so high.
Wolves stepped up out of League One last season but, along with fellow promoted outfit Brentford, they have exceeded the expectations put on them before the start of the season by forging a late fight for promotion.
