The former Barcelona man has shared a video of his recovery with fans on Twitter.
The former Barcelona man was ruled out for up to six months after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury earlier in the season.
The injury came in an FA Cup victory over Rochdale, in which he pulled up unchallenged while chasing the ball in the penalty area, eventually leaving the ground on crutches.
It was later revealed he had damaged ligaments in his left knee and would miss the rest of the season. Now, though, he has posted a video of his recovery on Twitter that will leave Stoke fans hopeful he will be fit for the beginning of pre-season.
The injury brought an end to what had been a successful first season in England with Mark Hughes’ side, during which he had scored five goals in 16 appearances for the Potters.
However, Stoke fans will be enthused that their star man has started his rehabilitation and will be keen to see him back in their first team sooner rather than later.
