Tottenham Hotspur have a huge game on their hands against Fiorentina in the Europa League.
The tie is balanced at 1-1 after the first game in London and this is a really good chance for Mauricio Pochettino’s team to progress into the next round.
Tottenham will have one eye on the League Cup final this weekend, but it’s a great chance for the players coming into the team to show why they deserve a place against Chelsea on Sunday.
Spurs head into the game this evening on the back of a hard earned point against West Ham.
Their attitude in that game was superb and while they didn’t produce their best performance, they were determined and were understandably delighted when Harry Kane converted the rebound after a saved penalty.
Pochettino will more than likely urge an aggressive approach in this game, wanting Spurs to try and get ahead which will allow him to take off any players he wants to protect ahead of Sunday.
They can’t take this game lightly because the Serie A side have the quality to make Tottenham pay.
