Former Tottenham attacker Iago Falque netted for the club in a 1-1 draw for Genoa.
Former Tottenham winger Iago Falque scored his fifth goal of the season in Serie A, as he helped his Genoa side to a 1-1 draw with Sampdoria.
The 25-year-old has found a club where he is playing regularly, making 18 appearances for the Serie A side, who sit a lofty 7th in the table, above both Milan clubs.
Falque has played his part in their rise, now having five goals to his name and three assists, completing an average of 85 per cent of his passes in the division.
Against Sampdoria he scored past a player who was part of Arsenal's squad last season, goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano, who signed on loan on the same day as Mesut Ozil, but didn't play a single first team game and often failing to even make the bench.
Also on the opposition side as a substitute was former Chelsea and Everton striker Samuel Eto'o, and former Fulham loanee Stefano Okaka.
