Tottenham Hotspur media round-up: Neville says Kane 'transformed' his appreciation of him

A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

Gary Neville has been quoted by the Daily Mail suggesting Harry Kane will be in the next England squad.

The England coach claims it’s difficult to ignore the form the 24 goal striker has been in so far this season.

“I watched the game pre-Christmas against Everton and it transformed my appreciation of him,” said Neville.

Neville has suggested that Kane is almost the complete striker in terms of his all-round game.

The Guardian has reported that Emmanuel Adebayor will miss Tottenham’s trip to Fiorentina in the Europa League.

It seemed like a great chance for the forward to get involved, with Harry Kane likely to be rested for the League Cup final.

He has struggled for game time under Mauricio Pochettino throughout this season.

The Daily Star claims Tottenham are one of several clubs to have sent scouts to watch Cagliari star Godfred Donsah.

The paper claims that 18-year-old has been dubbed the ‘new Michael Essien’ for his style and the authority of his performances.

Arsenal and Manchester City have also been mentioned as being interested in him ahead of an important summer.
