Tottenham Hotspur's latest hero against Arsenal - in an under-18 encounter - has reflected on his hat-trick on social media.
Tottenham Hotspur versus Arsenal does not only mean everything to the senior stars; the youngsters of both clubs will also be desperate to get one over their fierce rivals whenever they play.
So Wednesday February 25 2015 is likely to be one day Tottenham striker Shayon Harrison will never forget.
That was the day the 17-year-old forward scored a hat-trick in a 4-1 win for Spurs’ under-18s against their Arsenal counterparts, suggesting Mauricio Pochettino could have another young gem on his hands.
Tottenham are benefiting from some brilliant young players who have excelled in a whole range of positions this season including Eric Dier in defence, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb in midfield and of course Harry Kane up front.
But there will always be younger players looking to make a name for themselves and Harrison did just that this week.
After the match against Arsenal, the Tottenham teenager took to Twitter to express his delight at netting three times in the mini North London derby.
“Great 4-1 win versus Arsenal today,” Harrison wrote, “and very happy to score a hat-trick as well!”
Harrison started making a name for himself at this level last season, but three goals against your biggest rivals? That is something else.
