Can the young duo make it into the first team at Loftus Road?

At the weekend Queens Park Rangers were forced into a drastic decision regarding the right-back position. In the end Chris Ramsey went with the young talent that is Darnell Furlong in defence.

Furlong, son of former QPR striker Paul, gave a decent account of himself in the 2-1 defeat against Hull City.

Another young lad in Michael Doughty also made his debut recently.

It shows that QPR are certainly not lacking in their youth department and if need be, cover is available.

They have even taken a few of their younger players away for their warm weather training camp in Dubai this week. QPR have been posting pictures of the session today on their official Twitter account.

Among the pictures there was an appearance for two QPR youngsters.

Reece Grego-Cox and Cole Kpekawa were both snapped in action for the club.

Grego-Cox is a Republic of Ireland youth international striker who signed a professional deal at the club in December.

Kpekawa is an 18-year-old talent who recently returned to the club from an impressive loan spell at League One club Colchester United.

After watching Furlong and Doughty make it into the QPR first-team, both will hope to follow in their footsteps in the near future.
