Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud will be hoping to continue his scoring streak when he faces Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
The Frenchman has scored three in his last two games, and six in his previous seven, with three assists.
Against Monaco however, he needs to break his duck, and an unwanted record.
Formerly of Montpellier, Giroud is familiar with the Ligue 1 side, but despite the picture above where he clips the ball over the goalkeeper in an attempt to score, he has never done so against them.
Not only has Giroud failed to net against Monaco in the three matches they have faced off, he has never been on the winning side.
Playing twice against them for Montpellier, games ended 0-0, and 0-1, while in a game for another former club Tours, his side were defeated 4-3.
The Arsenal team he is now a part of is a stronger side than either of the club's he was playing for in terms of the talent he has alongside him, and he has never been more equipped to get the better of Monaco.
A little bit of luck, which he clearly has not had on previous occasions as shown above, would not go amiss either.
