Brentford continue to impress in the Championship even with the announcement that manager Mark Warburton will be leaving at the end of this season.
Warburton guided the Bees to the Championship in 2013/14, and even has them competing for a play-off place this term, but the club and manager will go their separate ways in the summer.
On Tuesday night, Brentford dismantled Blackpool at Griffin Park, hammering the beleaguered Tangerines 4-0 in a one-sided victory.
With a whopping 42 shots on goal over the course of the 90 minutes, Brentford were by far the better side - and they had midfielder Jon Toral to thank.
The Spaniard, 20, is on a season-long loan from Arsenal, and hit a hat-trick against Blackpool in his finest performance of the season.
Three goals from midfield was an impressive return for Toral, who started his career with Barcelona, and manager Warburton has heaped praise on the youngster in an interview with the Brentford official website, even saying he was exceptional against Blackpool.
"I am delighted for Jon because he trained so well," said Warburton. "He had that five game run where he started earlier in the season and did exceptionally well. He didn’t deserve to lose his place and Jon knows that."
“He trains so well and is a credit to himself and to Arsenal. We are pleased for him tonight and it was a good performance for Jon," he added.
Toral will be hoping to prove that he has a future at Arsenal during the rest of the season - and a hat-trick from midfield is a great way to start.
