Manchester City media round-up: Hart hints at strategy for Barca second leg

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has been quoted by Reuters detailing the club’s likely approach for the second leg of the Champions League clash against Barcelona.

City trail in the tie having lost the first match 2-1, but Hart has hinted at an aggressive and attacking mentality heading into the second game.

“We'll go there with a great group of fans, belief and we will have a right go,” said Hart.

Manuel Pellegrini has been quoted by the FIFA website suggesting his team need to stay optimistic after defeat to Barcelona.

City lost the first leg of the Champions League clash 2-1 ahead of the return match in the Nou Camp.

Luis Suarez came back to haunt his former Premier League opponents with a brace, but the boss was optimistic over what he saw.

“I think we can do it. We demonstrated in the second half that we are not a worse team than Barcelona,” said the boss.

The Daily Star has reported that Manchester City are one of the sides to have scouted Godfred Donsah.

The 18-year-old Cagliari star is attracting the attention of some of the biggest clubs across Europe, with Arsenal and Tottenham also mentioned as interested.

He’s reported to have an £11 million buy-out clause in his current contract.
