Leeds v Watford predicted lineups and match preview

Leeds United and Watford go head-to-head in the Championship this weekend.

To be played on Saturday 28th February 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Elland Road, Leeds

Odds: Leeds 2/1, Draw 23/10, Watford 13/10

Leeds United welcome Watford to Elland Road on Saturday with Neil Redfearn’s side looking to put their defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion behind them.

The problem for the Whites is that next up is a resurgent Watford side, who got over their 3-0 defeat to Norwich City by beating Rotherham by the same score-line earlier this week.

Watford are currently sixth in the championship, while Leeds slipped to 14th after losing their first away match in four.

Redfearn is likely to be quietly confident with the match being on home turf, but having relied on many of the same players week in, week out, he could be forced to reshuffle things in order to prevent fatigue.

Leeds defender Giuseppe Bellusci remains suspended, meaning club captain Liam Cooper and recent loan signing Sol Bamba look set to maintain their partnership in the centre of defence.

Steve Morison and Sam Byram are both injury doubts although Redfearn hopes both will be available for the weekend.
