In Pictures: Luis Suarez torments Manchester City in the Champions League

Manchester City have it all to do in the Nou Camp as former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez struck twice at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City have it all to do after losing 2-1 at home to Barcelona at the Etihad Stadium in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.

It was a familiar face who tormented them as former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez struck twice in the first half to give the four-time European Champions a 2-0 lead at half-time as City were carved open time and again.

The second half response from Manchester City was good and they got their rewards when Sergio Aguero struck midway through the second half to give the Premier League champions some hope before Gael Clichy was given his marching orders after picking up two yellow cards.

It could have been worse for the home side as Pablo Zabaleta conceded a late penalty by fouling Lionel Messi in the closing seconds, but he has goalkeeper Joe Hart to thank for his save from the spot, and Messi's failure to put the rebound home.

They are in a slightly better position than at the same stage of last season, but they have it all to do at the Nou Camp in three weeks time.

Here are some of the best images from last night's action:
