Arsenal and Tottenham are keen on Godfred Donsah, 2 other Premier League clubs also keen, agent confirms

Cagliari's Ghanaian midfield talent is a hot target across Europe.

It was reported yesterday that both Arsenal and Tottenham were ready to make a move for talented Ghanaian teen Godfred Donsah of Italian side Cagliari.

The London Evening Standard reported that Arsenal were ready to battle Tottenham for the player.

Later on it was also revealed by the club president at the Italian side that Manchester City were also keen on his signing.

Now, the player's agent has joined he discussion.

Oliver Arthur, his representative, listed no fewer than four Premier League teams in an interview with All Sports Ghana yesterday - with Liverpool joining the other four teams in question.

He said:

"There's lots of interest in Donsah as of now. Especially from clubs in UK. Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal have made official enquiries about him. Until now they are scouting him and there's nothing concrete."

"The player is happy to hear of all this interest and the fact that his efforts are been noticed by bigger clubs."

Donsah has burst onto the scene in Italian football this season. He made his debut for the club toward the end of last season and over the past 12 months he has become a regular member of the Rossoblu's first-team.

This season he has played 16 games for the club scoring two goals, the most recent coming in a 1-1 draw with Torino this month.

A combative but stylish midfielder there is little wonder why the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham are interested, along with Manchester City and Liverpool. Time will tell where he ends up.
