Predicted Liverpool line-up to play Besiktas in the Europa League second leg

One possible change for Brendan Rodgers heading into Liverpool's second leg of the Europa League tie against Besiktas.

Liverpool head into the second leg of their Europa League tie against Besiktas looking to protect a slender 1-0 advantage from the first game between the sides at Anfield.

Mario Balotelli stepped up to convert from the penalty spot for that game and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will be hoping his side can dig deep and get themselves in front, which will allow him to make team changes ahead of the game against Manchester City this weekend.

The Reds go into this match off the back of a 2-0 win against Southampton last weekend, which gives them further momentum and confidence heading into the big game.

Turkey is never an easy place for any side to go and play football and Liverpool will need to be at the top of their game to silence the home crowd and take any hostility out of contest as quickly as possible.

The Premier League will remain the priority for Liverpool this season, but that doesn’t mean they will take Europe lightly.

Here’s the potential side that Rodgers could go with for the game.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Lovren, Skrtel, Markovic, Moreno, Allen, Henderson, Lallana, Ibe, Sterling

The backline is the same as in the game against Southampton.

This could be a match where Liverpool are under a lot of pressure and they need a leader in Martin Skrtel and presence with Dejan Lovren to cope with the waves of Besitkas attacks.

Alberto Moreno can also drop into a defensive role while the pace coming from Jordon Ibe and Raheem Sterling is going to be important on the counter attack.
