Photos: Leeds United's five key players against Brighton

Leeds United need several players to be on song for the side to get a result against Brighton this evening.

Leeds United have a great opportunity to maintain the positive form they have been showing when they take on Brighton in the Championship this evening.

Neil Redfearn’s side have been superb in recent games, as they have transformed their fortunes and pushed their way into the top half of the Championship table.

Another three points this evening and they could have closed the gap on Blackburn Rovers just ahead of them.

Here are five key players for Leeds this evening.

Marco Silvestri

Silvestri needs to be on top form in the Leeds United goal to keep out any half chances and clear cut efforts Brighton have.

Scott Wootton

Fresh off of a new contract, there’s going to be a little bit of pressure on him and it will be interesting to see how he reacts and plays down that right hand side.

Lewis Cook

Cook is arguably the club’s best midfielder. His calm approach to possession play and winning the ball back means he offers something in both defence and attack. If he can dictate the tempo, Leeds can dictate the game.

Alex Mowatt

Goals against Millwall and Middlesbrough have put him back into the spotlight at the club. He’s superb at popping up in advanced midfield positions all over the pitch and needs to get forward well and support the striker.

Steve Morison

Morison could be the main man up front for Leeds as he continues his search for an elusive goal. He’s important in terms of holding the play up and bringing others into the game.
