Brown predicts Celtic result
Scott Brown believes that Celtic's second-leg against Inter Milan could be a very high-scoring affair.
The Bhoys and Inter played out a 3-3 draw first time around and Brown thinks that even more goals could be scored at the San Siro.
“It could be 5-4," he told the Daily Record. "It would be nice if it was to us!"
Johansen on Celtic transfer dealings
Stefan Johansen says that Celtic have given themselves a chance of lifting silverware at the end of the season because they kept hold of their stars in January.
The Bhoys refused to sell any of their in-demand players last month and Johansen believes they will be rewarded for their ambition at the end of the campaign.
“We have quality players who were on other clubs’ radars but we managed to keep them and that can be the difference in the end if we want to win trophies," he said to the Daily Record.
Brown defends Gordon
Celtic midfielder Scott Brown says that Craig Gordon is invaluable to the side, even if he wasn't at the top of his game against Inter Milan last Thursday.
Gordon looked nervy throughout the match, but it was a very rare poor performance and Brown defended the goalkeeper today.
"Craig is worth his weight in gold," he told the Daily Record.
“Everyone makes mistakes, the ball was a bit slippery when it shot through. But he made a superb save at the end which keeps us in the tie.”
