Forest will host the Cherries at the City Ground in the Championship and will be looking to maintain their impressive run of form.
Dougie Freedman’s side will head into the clash on the back of a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers at home.
The victory at the City Ground on Saturday saw the Reds pick up 10 points from a possible 12 in the Championship under Freedman, and Aston Villa-owned Gardner is confident of adding three more points to their tally on Wednesday.
“Obviously they’re a good team – the table doesn’t lie,” the 22-year-old midfielder told Forest’s official website. “But I think we’ve got enough to beat them.
“On the back of a good win the other day we can’t wait for the next game. Hopefully we can get the same result.”
Can Nottingham Forest beat Bournemouth?
Based on current form, Forest should be considered favourites to win against Bournemouth.
In their last six games, the Reds have picked up 10 points, while the Cherries have collected eight.
Eddie Howe’s side were also defeated 3-1 by fellow promotion-hopefuls Brentford away from home in the league on Saturday, and have won just one game this month.
However, Bournemouth have shown on many occasions this season that they can bounce back - and bounce back in style.
The Cherries are very much in the race for automatic promotion to the Premier League, and one should not be surprised if they pick up all three points at the City Ground.
