Arsenal's young players have been eliminated from the FA Youth Cup by Crewe Alexandra.
Arsenal under-18 captain Daniel Crowley, pictured above, was unable to prevent the side crashing out of the FA Youth Cup.
Last season's beaten finalists lost 3-2 to Crewe Alexandra on home turf, in a game they trailed 2-0 and later 3-1.
The fifth round win for Crewe sets up a quarter-final against Manchester City. Liverpool and Manchester United's sides also exited in the same round, but Chelsea and Spurs have already progressed to the semi-finals.
The loss was particularly disappointing for Arsenal with a number of players who have featured for the first team squads in competitive matches involved. These included Gedion Zelalem, Aisling Maitland-Niles, Stefan O'Connor and goalkeeper Ryan Huddart.
Arsenal's goals were scored by the prolific Steph Mavididi and substitute Marc Bola.
