Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has been singing the praises of Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe on Sky Sports.
The 19-year-old has been in superb form for the Reds since his recall to the Merseyside outfit from a loan spell at Championship club Derby County in January.
In five Premier League appearances for Liverpool since then, the youngster has created one chance, has a pass accuracy of 88% and a shot accuracy of 75%.
Ibe, who has established himself as a first-team regular under Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, was once again brilliant on Sunday.
Deployed as a right wing-back against Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League encounter, the teenager featured for 75 minutes and emerged with impressive stats, as shown in the table below.

Former Arsenal and France international striker Henry was impressed with what he saw of Ibe and told Sky Sports’ Super Sunday programme: “It was an amazing performance.
“It wasn’t the stepovers and nutmegs but he showed maturity in a game like that at an early age, it’s his maturity to understand the game.
“The way he was tucking in to show he can cover his back three and the midfielders, he never gave up, he worked hard for his team-mates and that’s how you gain the respect of team-mates. That is why he is playing for Liverpool.”
Ibe has indeed been a revelation since his return to Liverpool, but the signs were already there.
Signed from Wycombe Wanderers in January 2012, the teenager was loaned out to Derby in the summer of 2014.
The youngster, who was supposed to play for the Rams for the entire 2014-15 campaign, was very important for the Championship club.
In 20 league appearances for Derby, Ibe scored five goals and created 13 chances, while having a pass accuracy of 87% and a shot accuracy of 48%.
Ibe is far from the finished article, but he does indeed look the real deal.
