Ozil, Sanchez and more: Arsenal players react on Twitter to 2-1 win

Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 on Saturday and some of their players have seen taken to social media to share their thoughts.

Arsenal’s players were quick to express their delight on Twitter following another fine win for Arsene Wenger’s side.

It was always going to be a tough match away to Crystal Palace, but the Gunners came through it courtesy of goals from Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud, with summer signing Danny Welbeck playing an integral role in both strikes.

Palace pulled a goal back through Glenn Murray but Arsenal held on for a 2-1 win that took them back into the top-four; and with their players at their disposal it is hard to believe Wenger’s men will not qualify for the Champions League again next season.

Following the match, Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Calum Chambers all went on social media with Ozil posting a picture of a number of Arsenal’s players celebrating in the dressing room.

Chambers thanked all the Gunners’ travelling support and hailed a great away win, while Ozil reflected on what was a fifth win in six league games for his side.

Sanchez may not have got on the score-sheet this time, but that could not dampen his mood, as he looked ahead to Wednesday’s huge Champions League match against Monaco.
