Forest defeated Bolton 4-1 at the City Ground on Saturday.
Nottingham Forest produced a magnificent performance at the City Ground yesterday as Dougie Freedman happily defeated the club he previously managed, Bolton Wanderers.
Freedman, who recently took over from Stuart Pearce at Forest, was sakced by Bolton earlier in the season after a string of poor performances and results at the Macron Stadium.
So for him, watching his new side defeat his old club 4-1 would have been an absolute delight.
Chris Burke scored two while a Michail Antonio wondergoal and a Henri Lansbury penalty saw Forest win the game, despite a goal from Adam Le Fondre on the stroke of half-time for Bolton.
Obviously, after such a win, the players were in good spirits post-game. The likes of Lansbury, Gardner, Dexter Blackstock, Jamaal Lascelles and Jamie Paterson all took to Twitter to make their joy clear at the stunning result.
Great win today . Dominated from start to finish and entertained #nffc— Dexter Blackstock (@dexblackstock23) February 21, 2015

They weren't alone. There was also a Tweet from Britt Assombalonga. He aimed his message directly at Antonio for his goal in the game. The striker was recently ruled out for 12 months with a horrific knee injury and was pleased to see somebody taking the goal-scoring mantle in his absence.
Forest fans will be hoping for plenty more happy Tweets from their players in the weeks to come.
