The Merseyside clubs faced off in the U18 Premier League match at Finch Farm in what is called the 'Kid Derby'. In the senior field Liverpool have dominated this fixture in recent times.

But that was not the case in Halewood, as Everton gave Liverpool an absolute pasting.

The Toffees won the game 5-0, without being challenged by the Liverpool youngsters.

Two goals from their striker Calum Dyson were added to by Harry Charsley, Jack Bainbridge and Liam Walsh as Everton made a mockery of their local rivals.

They scored goals for fun yesterday afternoon and it was certainly a wonderful advert for the Everton youth system. For Liverpool, it was a result they would like to be swept under the rug.
