The American was at fault for both of Leicester City's goals this afternoon.
Goals from Steven Naismith and Romelu Lukaku papered over the cracks of what was a terrible display, but one player who really struggled, as he has for much of this season, was Tim Howard.
The American stopper had an excellent World Cup in Brazil but he has been poor for the club this season.
Today was no different. He fumbled the cross for what was David Nugent's equaliser before flapping at a cross for the second, eventually tapped away by Esteban Cambiasso.
Once reliable, but prone to the odd error, it is now reversing. Howard is becoming prone to the odd error but on his day can be reliable. The fact is Everton could do with better.
Some might say they already have better.
The fact is that when Howard was recently injured Spanish stopper Joel Robles kept sticks. He kept three clean sheets in his last three appearances before being pulled out for the American, who has been poor for The Toffees this term.
The feeling appears universal from Everton fans. They want him dropped.
Here is some of the reaction from Everton fans on Twitter to the performance:
Another repulsive goalkeeping display by Everton's custodian. How many points has Tim Howard lost for Everton now? Misguided loyalty. #drop— Rory McGlasson (@rorymcglasson) February 22, 2015
How many more times is Tim Howard gonna be given the chance to drop points for us this season.— Liam Boggis (@lboggis1878) February 22, 2015
