Wolverhampton Wanderers returned to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday when they got the better of Rotherham United 5-0 at home.
Kenny Jackett’s side headed into the clash at Molineux on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Norwich City away from home in the league.
Wolves were expected to pick up all three points against struggling Rotherham, and they did so with ease.
The star of the show at Molineux was a certain Benik Afobe, who scored two goals in the 5-0 victory.
The 22-year-old opened the scoring for Wolves in the 21st minute when he fired home Kevin McDonald’s cross.
England Under-21 international striker Afobe scored his second goal of the match in the 63rd minute.
Signed from Premier League giants Arsenal in the January transfer window, Afobe has been a revelation in the Championship.
The youngster has scored five goals and created six chances in seven Championship appearances for Wolves, while having a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 80%.
Following Afobe’s brace against Rotherham, Arsenal and Wolves fans took to social networking site Twitter to hail his performance.
