The former Tottenham Hotspur chairman has once again been left frustrated with the 22-year-old winger.
The 22-year-old joined the north London side for a big-money fee in 2013 and has shown glimpses of promise during his time at White Hart Lane.
But those glimpses have been countered by constant frustration that the Argentine winger has failed to live up to his potential.
The Tottenham star's pace and trickery have often flattered to deceive - and, as for Lamela's final delivery...
During the first half of Spurs' London derby with West Ham, Lamela's frustrating form seemed too much for Lord Sugar, who appears to have given up on him - and promptly ripped the 22-year-old apart on Twitter.
I am sorry but I can't see what's so special about Lamela— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) February 22, 2015
“@Jerad_Is_A_Punk: I don't think I can count how many times I've hearLamela is dispossessed."”.....correct what's so special about this guy— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) February 22, 2015
They must bring on Eriksen .Lamela is lightweight and Dembele and Townsend need to up their game also.— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) February 22, 2015
Lamela played down the left during the half in question, with Andros Townsend not doing much better against West Ham down the right-hand side. Funnily enough, Lamela was involved in Tottenham's first goal in the second half - but did little else.
Mauricio Pochettino now faces a tough task deciding who to start against Fiorentina in the Europa League next Thursday - and an even tougher one for the Capital One Cup final against Chelsea.
