Arsenal take on Crystal Palace later today in what should prove to be an interesting London derby. Palace have been in good form since Alan Pardew took over at the club however, they are winless in their last two outings.
As for Arsenal, they are gunning for the Champions League places and have lost just once in their last eight outings.
One interesting scenario for Palace is whether they will line up with an Arsenal flop in their side. Not Yaya Sanogo, he is on loan from Arsenal so is therefore ineligible - but Marouane Chamakh.
The 31-year-old striker signed for Arsenal on a free transfer from Bordeaux back in 2010 but was never a hit at The Emirates.
The Moroccan international showed plenty of promise in his early Arsenal career. He scored goals against the likes of Blackpool, Bolton, Braga, Partizan, Birmingham, Shakhtar and Wolves - the latter becoming the fastest in the club's history in November 2010.
But into 2011 his form dipped. After scoring 11 goals in 44 matches in his first season at the club he socred just one in 19 games in the 2011-12 season.
He netted two goals in his final campaign at the club, but made just four appearances - none in the Premier League and was allowed to join West Ham on loan. In 2013 his contract expired and he joined Palace where he is now a fan favourite and regular member of their starting line-up.
Today he will be hoping to get one over on his former employers.
