Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter to Michail Antonio performance v Bolton Wanderers

Assombalonga, Antonio and Le Fondre

The winger was excellent against The Trotters this afternoon.

Today was a massive day for Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman. The new Forest boss has had a good start to his time in charge of the club, but his appointment did come as a surprise to many because of the way his last job came to an end. That was at Bolton Wanderers, the team they faced today.

Forest came out on top in an impressive 4-1 win at the City Ground.

Goals from Chris Burke, Michail Antonio, Henri Lansbury and a second for Burke secured the points for Forest with Adam Le Fondre scoring for Bolton Wanderers.

There were plenty of top performances. Dexter Blackstock was great up top, Burke superb on the wing and Gary Gardner excellent in midfield. However, it was Antonio that really caught the eye.

The bullish attacker was excellent for Forest, leaving Bolton players trailing in his wake for the majority of the game.

His goal was superb. He evaded challenge after challenge to charge through on goal and put away the second goal of the game.

There was no doubt that Forest fans were impressed with his performance, as was evident on Twitter.

Here is some of the best reaction to Antonio's performance from Twitter:
