The Leeds boss was delighted with the January loan signing's performance at Middlesbrough.
The 30-year-old joined the Yorkshire side on loan this January and has since impressed at the back, with Leeds now having secured three consecutive clean sheets.
During their 1-0 win over Middlesbrough, meanwhile, Bamba was superb, making last-ditch tackles and vital clearances. He was only outshone by the man behind him - Marco Silvestri.
And, after the memorable victory, Redfearn sang Bamba's praises, commenting on both his technical and physical ability.
"Sol settles us down a bit, he gives us a physical presence. He's a good footballer - the amount of times he intercepted things today and stepped in to keep us in the game with a good pass. He's just a really good signing," the 49-year-old said.
Bamba appears to have formed a strong partnership with Giuseppe Bellusci, although the 30-year-old has also worked well with Leeds defender Liam Cooper.
Redfearn will no doubt hope he can sign the centre-back on a permanent deal in the summer - his impact has been immense in such a short space of time.
Next up for the Yorkshire side are Brighton away from home and, on current form, Leeds can do no wrong.
Bamba and co may be hopeful of a less demanding game at the Amex, as Middlesbrough dominated proceedings for large periods and absolutely peppered the United goal. But the Leeds defence - and Bamba in particular - proved more than equal to the Championship promotion contenders.
