The Italian was in fine fettle at The Riverside Stadium.
Leeds United continued their excellent form of late with a fantastic win against start of the day league leaders Middlesbrough.
The 1-0 win came courtesy of an early goal from Alex Mowatt, who netted after some excellent build up from Lewis Cook.
The result was however only made possible by a few colossal performances at the back for Leeds. Sol Bamba and Giuseppe Bellusci were excellent at the back but goalkeeper Marco Silvestri rightly took most of the accolades.
The Italian has proven a great signing since arriving from Chievo in the summer and if it was not for him this afternoon, Leeds would not have come away with victory.

He didn't do anything out of the ordinary in his style. He was not necessarily commanding in the box and preferred to stay on his line on most occasions, backing himself to save efforts on goal, which he certainly did.
Silvestri was a man possessed for the game. He was unbeatable in between the Leeds sticks despite countless efforts on goal from Boro.
He ended up making ten saves, a magnificent total, as Leeds kept their third clean sheet in a row and continue to edge ever closer to the play-off places in the Championship.
