Middlesbrough welcome Leeds United to the Riverside Stadium for a lunch-time kick-off in the Championship.
Aitor Karanka’s side are top of the table, one point clear of second-placed Bournemouth, while Leeds are 14th, slipping slightly following Charlton Athletic’s victory against Wigan Athletic on Friday evening.
While Middlesbrough will be hoping to pull four points clear of their nearest challengers for the title, Leeds know they will climb up to 11th with a victory of their own and, having won four of their last five matches, that is not beyond the realms of possibility.
With Boro unbeaten in their last nine Championship matches - their last defeat coming prior to Christmas - it will take some effort from Neil Redfearn’s side to take all three points back to Elland Road.
But having already defeated Bournemouth when they were top of the table earlier in the campaign, Leeds’ promising young squad will know exactly what they are capable of.
