Arsene Wenger has given his thoughts on the club's most consistent player and clarified the situation over his future.
Cazorla has been used in central and left hand positions, but Wenger feels he’s back to his best after moving into a central role and has also told Arsenal fans they have nothing to worry about in relation to his future.
“He has been the most consistent player. Since he has moved centrally, his influence is bigger,” said Wenger.
“He extended his contract last year. I don't think there's anything to worry about, we've not been approached.”
The stats comparing Arsenal’s midfielders across a number of key areas suggest the boss has got it spot on with his selection.

In terms of goals, assists and the number of chances being created by Arsenal’s midfielders, he’s ahead in all three categories.
He’s also managed to maintain a good passing accuracy percentage this season, which has been beaten by some Arsenal players, but he’s played more minutes than any other midfielder this season.
It’s no wonder Sky Sports have reported interest from Atletico Madrid because he’s a top quality and top class midfielder.
The challenge for player and manager over the rest of the season is to get that level of consistency in big games. If he stays consistent, there’s no reason he can’t power the side into the top four and towards a Champions League place.
