The Celtic squad were in vibrant mood on Twitter after John Guidetti’s stunning added-time strike earned them a 3-3 draw with Inter Milan in the first-leg of their Europa League last-32 tie at Parkhead.
Celtic conceded two cheap goals within the opening 15 minutes to Xherdan Shaqiri and Rodrigo Palacio, but were level just 10 minutes later through Stuart Armstrong’s side-foot finish and Hugo Campagnaro's own goal.
Inter restored their advantage on the stroke of half-time, however, when Palacio added his second after pouncing on a mistake from goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
Gordon later earned some redemption in the second-half after making a fine save from another Shaqiri effort, but events after the break failed to match the first 45 minutes for action.
Nevertheless, there was to be late drama, as Guidetti, introduced as substituted with 15 minutes left, fired in the crucial equaliser at the death from Liam Henderson’s chipped pass to send the home crowd into raptures.
Ronny Deila’s side will travel to the San Siro for next week’s second-leg at a slight disadvantage due to the away goals rule, but the likes of Jason Denayer, Leigh Griffiths and Stefan Johansen had more than enough reasons to celebrate after a positive result against one of the giants of European football.
