Ronny Deila sends message to Guidetti, promises big future for Celtic duo

The Celtic boss spoke to reporters about three of his star forwards.

Celtic boss Ronny Deila has explained the key factor behind John Guidetti's recent upturn in form, according to the club's official Twitter feed.

And it's a simple one, to the mind of the Norwegian.

In so doing, though, the Celtic coach is no doubting sending a message to his striker - he wants more of the same.

Indeed, Deila attributes Guidetti's late equaliser and performance against Inter Milan to the Swedish striker training well. If he trains well, he does well, says the Bhoys boss...

Another goalscorer during the dramatic 3-3 draw with Inter was January signing Stuart Armstrong, who produced a terrific display alongside fellow new recruit Gary Mackay-Steven.

On that young duo, Deila is promising a big future, while he is also delighted their first two weeks at Celtic have already gone so well.

Celtic found themselves 2-0 and 3-2 down to Roberto Mancini's Inter side but came back strong, showing heart and courage to earn themselves a 3-3 draw late on.

The Bhoys now travel to Italy knowing they still have plenty of hope - especially if they are so potent going forward at the San Siro.

Having conceded three away goals, though, Celtic will be in for another tough test. What a night in Scotland during the first leg, however...
