The 19-year-old is back in training. Can he inject some much-needed energy into Newcastle United's season?
It's a strange situation when a club is almost reliant upon a 19-year-old to change their fortunes.
At Liverpool, however, it happened with Raheem Sterling and Jordon Ibe is now having a reasonably similar impact at Anfield.
At Newcastle, there is Rolando Aarons.
During a campaign that looks as though it will yet again peter out into disappointment for the Magpies, few bright spots shone as brightly as 19-year-old Aarons (18 when he began making an impact this season).
Injury kept him out for an extended period, though, making Newcastle games just that little bit more glum to watch.
But the good news is: Aarons is now back in first-team training. And the teenager may be just what Newcastle need to inject some much-needed energy into the closing stages of their campaign.
Manchester City await Newcastle this weekend but the St James' Park outfit have already beaten Manuel Pellegrini's men this season - in the Capital One Cup - when Aarons found the back of the net.
Also in training was youngster Adam Armstrong, while there were the usual suspects in Jack Colback, Moussa Sissoko and co, too.
Here are the best pictures from practice, with the sight of 19-year-old Aarons one to behold for Newcastle fans:
