United have snapped up 16-year-old talent Indy Boonen from Genk on a three-year deal.
Manchester United already have one Belgian whiz-kid in their ranks, now they have reportedly brought in another.
Infamous Tweeter indykaila posted this photo of 16-year-old Indy Boonen posing with Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj's shirt in the Manchester United dressing room yesterday.
The young lad has reportedly signed a three-year deal with the club, according to several papers today.
It is reported by The Express that Manchester United have indeed brought in the youngster. They say he was also being tracked by the likes of Arsenal, Wolfsburg and rivals Manchester City.
The player himself told Belgian media source HLN:
"It's like in a dream. The training sessions are hard, but I don't feel the tiredness when I realise I have signed for Manchester United."
The teenager was previously at Belgian side Genk and is a left-footed attacker, just like Belgian United first-teamer Januzaj.
Januzaj, who made his debut for the United first-team aged just 18 so the Belgian international will no doubt be an inspiration to the talented kid, who had already been training with the club at Carrington.
Januzaj now wears the famous number 11 shirt at United and has been in the first0team in recent weeks, despite his tender age. In two years time, Boonen might just join him.
