Manuel Pasqual is of no doubt that Kane must be watched with eagle eyes this evening.
Tottenham Hotspur take on Fiorentina in the Europa League this evening in perhaps the tie of the round at White Hart Lane. Vincenzo Montella's men will be hoping to do Italy proud and get one over on the Premier League side but Spurs will be rightly wary of their opponents.
As will Fiorentina. Their left-back Manuel Pasqual has even made it clear just who is getting much of the attention for La Viola ahead of the game, Tottenham's man of the moment Harry Kane.
The striker has been in breathtaking form this season, netting 23 times in all competitions and taking the Premier League by storm. Pasqual is quoted from his press conference by Football Italia as saying:
"Harry Kane burst on to the scene in a positive way. We'll do everything we can to stop him - he's one of Tottenham's best players."
Burst is certainly the right word. Kane seemed to be a striker drifting out of levels needed to reach anything near this level until the arrival of Tim Sherwood. He got him playing again and now Mauricio Pochettino has taken him to an entirely new level, a level which should see him playing for England very soon.
As far as Pasqual and the rest of the Fiorentina defence are concerned, they will need to hope their everything is enough to stop the Harry Kane.
