The Uruguay international has either scored or created an assist in the majority of games he has played in for the Spaniards.
With Lionel Messi the main man for the Catalan giants and Neymar coming of age, Suarez has to get used to not being the focal point of his team’s attack anymore – like he was at Anfield.
Although the Uruguay international has not shown the blistering performances that the Kop came to adore him for, Suarez has still been effective in Barcelona’s fight for silverware this term.
Luis Suarez has been involved in at least a goal or assist in 15 of the 21 games he played with Barcelona (7 goals, 12 assists, 19 starts).— Barça (@BarcaStat) February 16, 2015
As can be seen above, the South American frontman has started 19 games, with two substitute appearances for Luis Enrique’s men this term.
Of the 21 appearances, Suarez has either scored or provided an assist for a team-mate in 15 of the games he has played.
Messi’s incredible form since the turn of the year may well have put Suarez in the shade to some extent, but there is no doubting that the ex-Liverpool man is still contributing considerably to Barcelona’s immaculate recent run of form.
